During the Dutch Design Week, the Embassy of Health organises a conference for its network. At this conference, we question our current design and innovation approaches, and discuss whether these are still sufficient for the future.
Reon Brand (Principal Design Researcher, Philips Design) reflects on future changes, in which the relationship between people and our ecosystem is central. Host Lex Bohlmeijer will talk with designers, healthcare professionals and scientists about changing technological possibilities in healthcare and the role that designers play in this. Do we continue to search for new technological care solutions? Or do we create more room for human vulnerability? And with which (design) criteria and rules can we really do things differently, to make the health system more humane and future proof?
We'll end the afternoon with drinks.
