DIY bio Europe meetup Brussels

On the 15th of October, a DIYbio Europe event will take place in Brussels with the European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST) Network. COST is one of the longest-running European frameworks supporting cooperation among scientists and researchers across Europe.

The program of the day is to first gather biohackers and researchers together and start debating and acting on possible collaborations. Citizen Science will take more and more importance in the next years and DIY bio has great potential for creativity in biotechnologies. For all biohackers and biohackerspaces, this is a great opportunity to initiate new programs of hybrid projects between academics and society. This is also an opportunity for our european network to gain momentum and imagine ways for us to get funding for undertaking european scale projects, collaborations and events.

All biohackers are welcome! Pieter van Boheemen will participate on behalf of Waag's Wetlab.
