Opening celebration TextileLab Amsterdam

We welcome fashion and textile enthusiasts to celebrate the official opening of the TextileLab Amsterdam with us. The TextileLab is a place were we will share, question, innovate, hack, make, and meet; and where we experiment with craftsmanship, technology and digital fabrication for the textile and clothing industry.

The TextileLab Amsterdam is a lab for fashion designers, textile designers, material designers, researchers, artists, engineers, and creatives interested in exploring the future of the textile and clothing industry. We experiment with craftsmanship, heritage, technology, digital fabrication and biology; share knowledge; and push the boundaries of the textile and clothing industry. The TextileLab Amsterdam consists of the TextileLab Academy program, weekly open evenings, and monthly Textile Dialogues events.

During this evening we touch upon a few topics that the TextileLab will explore as part of the European project: Textile and Clothing Business Labs (TCBL). Different speakers related to the field of fashion, clothing, textile, design and technology will share their ideas and spark conversation. After listening and talking, it's time to connect, celebrate, and dance!
