OpenPCR DIY Bio at Mini Maker Faire

The DIY Bio Groningen group is building a new PCR device. During the workshop people will amplify DNA from they own cells using the new Groningen machine or the Waag Open Wetlab's OpenPCR. At the end the participants will receive a picture of their DNA-fingerprint. Workshop by Pieter van Boheemen.

This workshop is part of the Groningen Mini Maker Faire. The Groningen Maker Faire is the annual platform for makers. One day long, inventors, buildings, hackers, nerds and tinkerers show the world what they think of, create and develop. The large exposition, the many workshops, Maker Talks and the scrapheap challenge inspire visitors of all ages to roll up their sleeves and get making themselves. Explore your own talents and discover your own, personal makership. Be creative with technology, science, robotics, sustainability, engineering, art, crafts, DIY and much, much more!
