The festival Ruimtevolk Expeditie 2013 will take place on Thursday, November 21, in the Eusebius Church in Arnhem. Marleen Stikker is one of the keynote speakers at the festival.
Ruimtevolk Expeditie is an annual festival for innovation and (new) spatial issues. The festival was created in 2012 to celebrate the fifth anniversary of RUIMTEVOLK. ‘Expeditie’ is all about knowledge and sharing for and by professionals in the field of public space and related disciplines. Besides exploring new spatial themes, innovations and inspiring projects 'Expedition' is also a 'co-creation' festival. The event is designed in such a manner that professionals and organizations can actively contribute to the program.
Marleen Stikker is one of the speakers at the festival. She will talk about the revolutionary power of the Internet age and about how modern (open) and smart technologies can be used in a sustainable manner for social and spatial tasks in cities and villages. What does it mean when everything is open? And how do you make business with open source?
