Thieu Custers is concept developer with Waag's Future Heritage Lab and Maker Education Lab.

Next to this, he has his own design studio working on exploring science, nature and media, connecting these topics to the fields of philosophy and design. His work often ends up staging practical performative experiments, delving into themes of circular sanitation, food systems and ecological space exploration.
