Due to the global nature of the textile industry, we must look at textile-related practices from a broader perspective to reveal interconnectedness. We develop pupils' environmental awareness using 21st-century skills such as creativity, problem-solving and critical thinking. The Guide for the Textile Curriculum VMBO challenges pupils to think differently about contemporary issues while providing them with the knowledge and skills to design solutions for the future.
