On Thursday 5 September 2013 a third meeting took place in our project Plants for the Future with the botanical gardens in the Netherlands. This time we rooted ourselves at the Hortus Botanicus Leiden, just a day after queen Maxima opened a new tropical greenhouse.
This day was used to develop several quick and dirty prototypes, based on interviews with visitors and the portraits they made. Purpose was to visualize the stories of the gardens. Three different technical solutions were explored, one using augmented reality, one working with Scratch software and the MaKey MaKey and another turned to the storytelling platform for tours and game 7scenes.
