Open Hardware Future Talk: consumer electronics

On the 28th of January, Dansk Design Center and Waag will share some of the insights from their research of the past 18 months in In the 'Open Hardware Future Talks' series. Come join us for this online event about the potentials and benefits of open hardware product development!

The talk address key questions like: What are the possibilities of Open Source Hardware – and what are the challenges? How do you convert a business to Open Source? What have we learned about revenue streams in the Open Next project? And how do you create a community?

The wider adoption of open source hardware (OSH) is a key component of the Open Next project, building on lessons learned from the open source software movement. For this project, Waag also worked together with SODAQ, an organisation specialised in developing open source sensor technology.
