The first edition of the new annual lecture called the 'State of the Internet' will be held on 15 January 2019 at the central OBA in Amsterdam on whether the norms and values of our society are sufficiently reflected in the digital environments in which we move today.
Speakers are:
- José van Dijck, professor at Utrecht University and co-author of the book 'The Platform Society. Online values in a connective world'.
- Touria Meliani, alderman for art, culture and the digital city of Amsterdam.
- Marleen Stikker, director and co-founder of Waag. Marleen Stikker is one of the pioneers of the internet.
