Jikke van den EndeProject Manager

Jikke van den Ende is project manager with Waag's Life group, focusing on the themes of citizen science, smart cities and ecology.

Jikke holds a master's in Artificial Intelligence at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and obtained her bachelor's degree in Beta Gamma studies at University of Amsterdam. She is specifically interested in the ethics of technology. Such as the role of algorithms, data and self-learning machines in making agriculture and horticulture more sustainable: how can these technologies be designed and used based on public values? In addition, Jikke likes to explore how raw data can be turned into an understandable data-analysis for everyone.
