EXCENTRIC (Excelling Human-Centric Collaborative Ecosystems for Smart Digital Transition in CCSI) aims to stimulate innovation and promote the digital transformation of Europe's Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries (CCSI), with a focus on live music, festivals, theatres and museums.
The project will launch in February 2025 and run for three years in six European countries. Six pilots will focus on developing Collaborative Data Practices that will improve data use within and between cultural organisations, and better exploit the opportunities offered by digital data use in these sectors.
Organisations will be supported mainly in the areas of programming, pricing and audience engagement. By taking a human-centred approach and encouraging the use of digital tools, the project will work to improve collaboration between organisations and promote broad innovation across the ecosystem.
