GLUE: Artist Talk

On Friday, 15 September, you are cordially invited to join us for a S+T+ARTS evening at Waag Futurelab, where we will explore the themes of circularity, artistic experimentation and materials. Whether you are a material maker, involved in industrial production or a citizen interested to get to know specific examples of circular making, come join us for an evening of drinks and exciting conversation. Doors will be open at 17:00 hrs. From 17:30 hrs onwards, different artists will talk about their work and artistic process.

Foteini Setaki from Rotterdam’s The New Raw will provide insights in the opportunities and challenges of working with three-time recycled plastic. Margherita Soldati will share the very personal connection to her artistic research topic. Considerably reducing waste by collaborating with tech experts and artists is something that Fiction Factory has achieved working with Jesse Howard on Found Objects, and they will be there to share the success story of their collaboration.

Programme

17:00 hrs: Doors open

17:30 hrs: Start artist talk. Conversations with artists will take place at different times throughout the evening.

20:00 hrs: Drinks
