Paulien Melis was a concept developer with Waag. Before, she was a project manager and lab lead of Waag's Creative Care Lab and MakeHealth Lab, both focusing on innovation in healthcare. At Waag, Paulien has managed many projects in the fields of education, healthcare and culture. The projects range from technical development of online web services to development of innovative tangible objects and products.

In earlier jobs, Paulien worked for TNO, C. van de Graaf & Partners and Malmberg Publishers.
